The IA Design team were engaged by the Australian Trade Commission (Austrade) to design a contemporary, open plan work environment for their existing Melbourne office.

The design process involved a rethinking of the existing office space functionality, to ensure the new environment maximised productivity and efficiency. The IA Design team re-worked the existing layout into a more open and cohesive space that encouraged a spirt of transparency amongst the team. The new workstations featured electric sit-to-stand desks to encourage mobility and promote well-being.

The design successfully met Austrade’s operational and branding guidelines, and delivered beyond expectations.
